UNI450 is one of the global leading 450MHz wireless data solution providers. We are receiving the reputable CE-RED certificate from the German notify body PHOENIX TESTLAB GmbH. This will be the world’s smallest Cat.4 module (29x29x2.8mm) to support among others both 450 MHz bands (B31 and B72) to gain this approval. This recent development makes it much easier for the potential customers, as there will be no need for stocking separate SKUs for different 450MHz markets.
“The Global interest in the 400 MHz bands is increasing and the need for a diverse range of products is essential for the realization of end user services,” said Gösta Kallner, Executive Chairman at 450 MHz Alliance. “UNI450 have during several years been one of the leading supplier driving the evolution of new products and additional band support in the 400 MHz spectrum. The UNI450 will bring additional possibilities to the market and the 400MHz ecosystem.”
“Launching the world’s smallest RED-certified Cat.4 module for LTE450 industry – ML660, is the latest development result we achieved”, said Redd Khoo, CEO of UNI450 Technology Limited. “We are so lucky to achieve this milestone just after our partner 450connect obtained the 450MHz license rights in Germany for the next 20 years. Due to the strong support from 450connect and ArgoNET in the past 3 years, we made it happen! Currently we can offer ML660 LCC SMT type, ML660P miniPCIe type and ML660M M.2 type form factors for various applications with following LTE bands B3/20/31/72. In the second quarter of 2021, we will add up the B87 support on all three variants to give more choices to our partners.”
Adopting a state-of-the art 450MHz front-end design, enables the ML660 module to offer excellent industry-leading radio frequency performance for 450MHz industry. The module has the ability to support diversity reception and multiple-inputs and multiple-outputs (MIMO). This helps to optimize the data transmission speed and improve communication quality. Furthermore, the module has several integrated hardware interfaces: USB, UART, PCM, SDIO, RGMII and ADC, which can be widely used in industrial routers, mission and business critical equipment, customer-premises equipment, POS-terminals, Push to Talk smartphones etc.
